Testimonials
“From day 1, Kristen was with us to educate, support, prepare and advocate for me AND my partner, young child and infant. We had a high-risk pregnancy and a lot of concerns about communications with the medical teams; Kristen was instrumental throughout, making sure everyone had what they needed - information and tools - to have a successful and happy birth! When things got unexpectedly difficult, she was exactly the person I needed to cry to and to hold my hand; I felt I could tell her things that wouldn’t have come out with a nurse or even my husband, because she was a woman who had been there, too. She has a caring touch, a grounding and gentle presence, and all the know-how necessary to make everything go as smoothly as possible.”

“I am so grateful and glad we found Kristen to help us welcome our first baby into the world! From first communication through our postpartum visit, I felt supported and truly listened to by Kristen. I ended up having a lot of complications during and after labor, and she was by our side in the hospital for 2 days, constantly looking for the best way to support both me and my husband. Her manual pain management techniques were hugely helpful during my contractions, and having her there to bounce off our options as my induction continued to (not) progress well was a wonderful resource that helped keep me calm as it became clear we were heading into a C-section. Kristen's broad experience with different types of labor and delivery makes her a vast resource of information and able to share an outside perspective that helped me stay grounded and feel empowered as curveballs were thrown at us. After the delivery and return home from the hospital, she remained in close contact and was hugely supportive during a bumpy start into nursing, and helped me stay mindful and positive as I healed from the surgery. I would recommend her services to anyone seeking compassionate, enthusiastic and creative support during their labor and birth experience.”
